Thanks to all the lovely people who have offered to help out, I’ll be taking a maternity leave from the blog starting on Monday. There are some really creative contributors signed up, so I’m excited for you to see all their posts!

Don’t worry, I’m not going to fall off the face of the earth. I’ll still be checking in with the blog and putting up a post here and there. I’ll definitely be sharing photos of Ingrid along with her birth story. And I’ll still be running Sycamore Street Press with Kirk, coordinating our custom orders, working on new illustrations for our Folk line, and taking commissions. I’ll just have to figure out how to balance everything with a baby thrown into the mix. I’m nervous, but so excited!

Dang, my estimated birth date has already past! Hang in there Eva- I know it's not the easiest thing to hear but I was 13 days over-due with my first and even then had to be induced. So I know what the wait feels like… an expectant friend recently likened it to waiting at a bus stop, except that you don't know when the bus is going to arrive. You have a rough date and you know it's going to come eventually. But all you can do is wait. All will be forgotten when you hold her in your arms though!

Thanks Heather! Today is the first day that she is officially overdue, and I'm starting to feel a bit anxious… I know it'll all work out for the best, though!
